Metro
METRO BOYS TRYOUT INFORMATION
All players participating in the Metro program must live in the Hillgrove High School District.

The Metro Program consists of a 6th grade team, 7th grade team, and 8th grade team. The program is more competitive than the Little Hawks Recreational League. Most teams will play 15-20 games and have 2-3 practices per week. If you are selected for one of the teams, the cost to play is $457 ($425 Player Fees, $30 Hillgrove HS Capital Expenditure Fund, $2 Online Processing Fee). The Player Fees cover the cost of tournaments, team gear, gym space, officials, and supervision.
PLAYER CERTIFICATION
Upon making a Metro team, you will need to provide the following THREE DOCUMENTS . . .
- COPY of Electric/Gas/Cable bill, OR Employee Transfer Paperwork from Cobb County Schools. Cell Phone bills are NOT accepted.
- COPY (not original) of player Birth Certificate.
- Once available, COPY of school Progress Report/Report Card from ParentVue with your player’s address and grade printed on it.

Tryouts will be CLOSED – only Players & Coaches are allowed in the gym.

Congratulations on being selected to our teams! Thank you to all who tried out. If you didn’t make it, we have a rec league available for your participation. Metro practices will begin the week after Fall break so check back to www.hillgrovebasketball.com for specific date and times. You will need to complete the player registration and pay fees online as well. We are looking forward to a great season! Go Hawks!
